Wow, so I actually did the math I proposed WAB do and I was guessing I spent around $4k in fuel this summer. I spent closer to $6k in fuel!

even $4k was enough to break me, but $6k kinda makes me feel better in a way.
I thought I was barely making enough to keep my head above water and that I racked up too many bill with the new boat and new car.
I'm gonna stick to that $20/set rule next year for sure! I was just too excited to be in a brand new boat and I wanted everyone to ride behind it My own fault...

By my math I spent about 1,300 bucks on gas for my 65 hours this season.

I don't even want to know how much I spent. My wife tells me how much money I can put in the tank each time we need to put some in.

When we are not riding, the kids are napping and my wife and slowly cruise around the lakes with our iPhones out looking at lame houses for sale with the help of the zillow app. It's a fun game, dreaming about wining the lottery and buying the 10.5 mil place on CDA.

When gas started going up again I started filling up on the way home after every trip so I only put 15-20ish gallons at a time and I keep the tank full at all times. That way it doesn't seem like that much gas is going into the boat.
