My wife put biofreeze on it last night actually. This sucks, I usually work out my back and keep it strong (but I guess I've been slacking the last couple years )
Not that I was involved in, but others may have been talking with the dealer or Ben Pigeon about it.
I was asking Ben about the modifications to the early Z3 hull, trying to find a definitive answer. I never really got him to say clearly about the fill vs. cut on the chines and bottom of hull, but one thing he was saying was interesting.
He said when they initially developed the hull shape, they focused on just the bottom hull shape. They got a shape that produced nice wakes, but when they went to production, they added a little change to the side of the hull for aesthetic reasons. That was a change they undid with the later modifications. He said it was a stupid mistake, but they hadn't really considered how minor changes to the side of the hull effected the wake. And on the wakeboard wake, it wasn't a big deal, but when listed and at the slower speeds for surfing, the side becomes a running surface.
All these ecoboost F150s popping up towing our heavy boats... I love it! If the ecoboost was available in '08 I think I would have had a second option instead of my PSD.
