There's a reason that a 90 gallon tank is an option in a Bu 247...it needs it with the 496!

My bayliner had a 55 gal tank but people still are shocked a little when I tell them my Tige has a 48 gal tank. I get a little shocked thinking about a 90 gal tank, but it is a much bigger boat.

I went to Lake Powell with a Bu 247 with a 496 with a 90 gallon and a 25' Baja Outlaw with a supercharged 496. The Baja ran around the lake at 70+ mph all day long and the Bu pulled me wakeboarding twice and then a bunch of hydrofoiler's the rest of the time and the Bu used almost the full 90 gallons and the Baja used a little less. We only had a 250 gallon toy tank and used almost 180 of it on the first day! I've never used a full tank in my boat in 1 day, even at Lake Powell.

I assume that he is referring to the fuel tank on the houseboat to fill up the toys.

then I gotta re-assemble my trailer fender - I didn't get anything fixed properly, but I did some half-arsed work to feel more comfortable that the plywood inner fender won't tear off while driving up to Echo

cool, I haven't been houseboating before, they have a 250gal gass tank huh? and it's seperate from the gas tank for the house boat itself?
