Five, would you reccomend the LS3??? How does it perform to others you drove last weekend?

The SA450 has the LS3 also.

All the boats I drove had the "big" motor Natique was the PCM 409.

I would absolutely recommend the LS3, although it requires 91 octane it gets amazing fuel economy compared to the XStar and Natique.
      Waiting for another good one!

Thats what I'm leaning toward, probably the closest I'll ever get to owning a Corvette.

definitely do not waste your time on the monsoon 350. It's identical to the 330 and (you didn't hear it from me) but I heard from my dealer that it's just a marketing gimmick between the 330 and 350.
The L96 I've heard some stories about, but nothing certain. The LS3 is worth it though, is resell value as well.

I've had 2 Monsoons 350 great engine and they are base now. I had the L96 410 this year I have no complaints, just want a little more if it's worth it.

Chp and Wakeman have been quiet today. Hopefully they aren't too busy losing all their money in casinos. Or brothels.

My 24' barge manages to get around with the paltry 343 motor and 537 prop.

Although I don't exactly weight mine down like you two ballast boys

You can put the same weight that they do and it will it still be fine with the 343, different hull. Ask Bruizza, he went from being a proponent of getting the big engine due to his Axis to Wow the 343 rocks even with 2,000lbs +!

I have not had any issues with the 343, even when I had a LOT of weight in it. I might benefit with a new prop eventually but for now we are more than satisfied. I will caviat that with a disclaimer, my last boat, a bayliner I/O, had a 205 hp engine and it pulled up big dudes out of the water with a boat full of people. It did have a 5 blade SS prop, and it was slow out of the hole, but it got them up. My Tige pulls way harder than the bayliner, even if its full of ballast and people.
