The only downfall I have noticed since owning mine turned out to be a blessing. When a rider to get ready to get in the water, they would always take their shirt off and throw it up on the dash under the windshield. Now, they think twice and actually put it away in the glovebox or behind the observer seat.
Therefore I have a neat orderly dash all the time

The windows not being there on the Axis never bothered me. Hell MC made it an option on their boats.

No but since I have the option to put the top back in my Corvette when it rains, I do so!

I've just been in the situation quite a few times where the wind is blowing, the heater is going and everyone is huddled up inside the confines of the windshield area because the spray is blowing over the sides and the sides of the windshield provide shelter.

I get that a little bit. But in all honesty, it when I'm draining my bow ballast tank. The drain port is just forward of the windshield and it does come back at me sometimes. Now I just drain when I'm driving a bit slower. I really don't get that spray just from the hull.
