We are happy to have a heater. Our last boat didn't. It's my wife (and ever other females) favorite option on the boat. She even used it this past Saturday and it was in the mid-70s

These things will greatly improve your pop. The edge thing is a mindfuck IMHO.
I will definately try this this weekend. I have a pic the other day at the top of the wake and my knees are bent at like a 90 degree angle so I know thats a lot of the problem. Im still going w2w and try to wait to the last second to flatten off a little bit and really use a progressive edge in. I need to get some video of my w2w so I can actually see what I'm doing, or not doing,

Now when you feel comfortable and want to try a backroll come with the same approach only tuck your elbows close into your sides. As you get to the wake pop off that back foot and look over your shoulder. KEEP your eyes OPEN and DON'T let go of the handle. The handle is the key to the rotation. As you come around extend your arms to slow down your rotation.

If you hold that edge you will clear the wake even with your knees bent. Once you get used to that start working on standing tall. You wil get it real soon. One time it will just click and you will be good to go.

I've gotta try that next time out...I did a backflip off the surf board last time out...it's almost guaranteed that I could really biff it with this one!

A good friend of mine went out and bare footed into the melinium. And it was so cold that night. We are talking at 11:59 new years eve 2000. I was at a party and it had snowed that day and the north wind was blowing 35. Crazy. Now he's a dad and can't even come to the lake.
