Bryce I'm not saying the guy you met last night isn't telling the truth. However bringing home $4000 a week AFTER taxes would make your yearly bring home pay $208,000 a year. That means you are making over 300k a year. I don't know a lot about welding but that seems awfully high. If this is true I will be learning how to weld here very shortly!!!

A 100 dollars a say is per diem and tax free. 38 hour on the arm, 15 an hour on the truck. I know a lot of pipeliners that bring home over 4 a week pretty easy. Idk tho. Hopefully ill find out soon.

A couple years of sacrifice for that pay would be fine. I have a Masters degree and make a whole lot less.

Base hourly pay could be like $40-$50 an hour and then you rake in the dough with the overtime, double time and whatever other things they pay you like meals.
