I didn't think to take any pics. The Axis heater vents are in the dash now, very nice!

So what is the benefit of having a auto latching coupler? You still need to crank down the tongue to engage it, and then you still need to insert the pin and attach the chains. I imagine that it would still require the same fine adjustment of ball location to be able to latch. So all it does is save a couple seconds required to push down the latch. And it is one more mechanical device that could fail. Just seems to be a solution to a problem that didn't exist.

I'll get some next time over, looked on the Boatmate site but they don't show it either.

Then the way I have to back my boat into my shop, or more importantly hitch it up to pull it out I come in at an angle. Often I have to lower the tongue down and then jiggle the hitch so it will latch. The auto latching would become manual quickly in many folks scenario I think.

Either way, it's definitely a cool idea.
Hey ET and Dr, do you guys lower your towers every time to get your boats into your garages?
          Waiting for another good one!

You don't want to lock your legs completely. Think about jumping on a trampoline. You spring off it not just lock your legs and bounce off it. The wake is a trampoline. Spring off the top.

Can't find it in search either, it's shaped kinda like the bow of a Epic boat

Think about standing up off a barstool when you hit the transition.
                Waiting for another good one!

That's the ugliest bow in the world. What is shaped like that?

I usually fall off the barstool.

Unfortunately, that's the same thing I do when I hit the wake.

I fingered it and it seemed much more forgiving.

Never lower my tower Five, I have a shed that's 11' tall.

Maybe I'll get to hook-up to it next week and see how well it works.
