Skippa, on why so many houses here, when we moved down it was booming and very little inventory with very high pricing, The house we found was I think one of the nicest ones we have ever had, It was just beautiful inside and had a very good design. Well of course they were so small nobody would ever build a house on them so said the realtor...
A year after we moved in they started construction on not single family homes but four 4-plexes, They were right next to us and parking went from adequate to nil

on this house, we picked it because it had the 3 car garage, extensive driveway and street parking, nice neighborhood and RV parking. Basement was not finished. So this summer we were talking about finishing the basement, wrote down our wants, added the price and by chance we stopped at a open house for new construction. added that all up with the options we wanted checked the interest rates and we will get everything we want with a new construction and finished basement with a cheaper payment than we have now.
