Chp you ever thru bolted any speakers onto an alpha z?

other then the 4 pre-threaded locations? No, but it can be done.

There have been some WS posts on here and FB where stereo shops have added more speakers by doing a through bolt. Just curious as to how solid that method is etc... Would love to have some Rev 410s on my tower. But it at the expense of stability or longevity.

You have to drill a large hole through the top to drop the bolt w/fender washer through that threads into the speaker. Then plug the hole with a rubber grommet plug with a little silicone.

No but I heard somebody docked there bout in the middle of it. And if it isnt 6 in the morning is choppy as heck. Just rumors tho but I'm scared to take my boat there.
