Eldo as we call it around here. It's a great lake. We didn't try it this year because my wife is still a little nervous about the ramp loading area and it can get tight at Eldo.
We talked about moving our boats and camper to Kaw next spring for the year.

I'm nervous at eldo because of all the trees! Kaw isn't the clearest but its 35' deep and there so many good spots to anchor and party. I'm hoping the rain will hold off this weekend even tho I'm going out regardless

Stay in the main body of the lake and you will be just fine. Don't follow anyone up to the north end of the lake or "party cove" You will pay the price. The beaches are rocky so you will just throw an anchor and float. We might hit Kaw the weekend after Labor day. I will let you know.
