$4.06 here for gas and $4.15 for diesel today

$3.25 & $3.72 here. Was $3.42 for diesel & $3.59 for gas and then they flipped in a matter of a week.

what engine temps do your boats run at? Mine runs about 140 when we are surfing and anywhere from 130-135 just cruising around

diesel jumped 25 cents today around here

That refinery that blew up around frisco has a little bit to do with it, it was uncommon for it to drop during the summer also, it usually is a steady increase from memorial day till labor day, it dropped this year. iwndr if the election has anything to do with it???

When I see the jets here is it seems that there are always at least two and most times three in a series. Is there a reason for that?

Military jets learn and fly formation for mutual support. They cooperate with each others air to air and air to ground radar to watch each others back. They share the task load of flying the formation and communicating and accomplishing the mission. It's why you and I feel more comfortable on the water when there is a friendly boat nearby. The synergy makes 2 aircraft much more capable than a single aircraft operating alone, and a 4 ship spread is very capable.

The inn at alcova is not on the lake but they have about 5 newer cabins there. No hotels closer than Casper.

I've never stayed or looked too close at them Tim, Casper is a 29 mile drive. I'd say the closest hotel is 35 miles.

Both gas & diesel have been going up, they are about the same price on the stock market but it looks like diesel just jumped ahead of gas. I'm guessing both will be close to $4 by fall.
