My daughter and her boyfriend have a Pit Bull, I do not worry about her at night when she is alone
My best dog was a Lab Rott mix, it had the best traits of both breeds and it would protect any of us to the death. Nothing at all walked into our yard or came near our camper when we were out. The bad thing was I could not even look cross eyed at the girls or she would come at me and let me know it too"Failing to prepare is preparing to fail" John Wooden- Rest in Peace

I make the fiancé take one with her when she goes for a run. I always tell my male if I come home to the house robbed and the robber isn't laying in a pool of his own blood his *** is getting a job. I bought him a bone today for scaring the dude away before he got my oakleys. I just bought them while in Vegas.

She always rode in the back of my truck and I would leave her in it while I went into stores and such, She would just hang out and be smiling and wagging her tail to anyone that came near, but if they were not under 12 god help them if they tried to touch the truck or her. she would instantly have a full mouth of foam and go to crazy biotch mode
I would always tell her that was pretty sadistic"Failing to prepare is preparing to fail" John Wooden- Rest in Peace

Our previous dog, a lab/chow mix, was pretty damn possessive and protective. Had a mean looking and sounding bark if he thought anything was a threat (like birds, squirrels, etc.). After he was gone, wife felt we needed an alarm system because our friendly dog didn't quite give her the same sense of security.
