I don't want to call out the dealer, but the trailer is shipped with red tags on each wheel valve stem that warns you to re-torque the wheels. Did the dealer remove those???

              proper torque is good

My trailer didn't have the red tags. But then it had just been towed from Texas behind the dealer's truck, so hopefully he had re-torqued them before delivery. And they haven't fallen off yet, so I guess it worked for me.

From my understanding there is a heck of a lot more to this trailer story than this guy is telling.

I remember driving down the road with a friend in his Impala back in High school and watching a rim and tire fly past us, I said where the hell did that come from.... found out about a 1/2 mile later

C'mon - spill the beans, Bru! Just preface everything with a comment like "maybe" and you'll be fine

My brother had the same thing happen in his Z28 as he drove the Wolf Creek Canyon between Great Falls and Helena. Said it was a little unnerving to have his own rear wheel pass him while he was going about 75 mph.

It happened again on a friends F250 about ten years later, saw it fly by and told him not to panic, just don't hit the brakes and we will be fine on three wheels till we get back to town... He did not listen

Lol lets just say he maybe lost one on the way to the lake, boated all day, didn't put the spare on, maybe started driving home and lost the 2nd one. Then maybe the tow truck driver pulled the whole set up onto the flat bed with no rollers and he maybe needs a new trailer. This is all heresay at this point.
