The reason I asked is because my wife drives the '07 Chevy crew cab diesel and absolutely hates it. 3/4 ton trucks do not ride/drive like 1/2 ton trucks, I don't care what anyone says. Go park a 1/2 ton in a grocery store parking lot and then do it in a 3/4 ton. Go do a u-turn in the street with them, go drive over some rough roads with both unloaded, they aren't the same. Love my diesel when pulling but that's like 10% of it's life now.

Parking any big vehicle can be a pain. Is there a difference in size or maneuverability between the 1/2 and 3/4? I hate parking my avenger in many parking lots.

My buddy with a Ford will admit that the Dodge turns tons sharper. I recall that was a huge difference years ago the turning radius of the Dodge.

My old f150 was ok around town but my f250 took a country mile to make a u turn!

For sure! My Avalanche was a breeze to park compared to my current truck and I notice that it's all 3/4 ton trucks since I get to drive my buddies F250's pretty regularly at the lake. They don't have as tight of a turning radius as the 1/2 tons for some reason. The F150 Ecoboost with the tow package has more turns lock-to-lock than the regular F150, must be so that you can move the wheel more with less tire movement? Must make a difference in the driving experience somehow?

Not really a comparison but I remember when my 2000 truck was a tons better ride than my 92 Duster.

I'm pretty fortunate that we have a good sized dealership that has each manufacturer but dodge under their name, so it will be pretty fun to see what comes of it...who knows, I might not like any of them!

Up in Greeley here, they have Chevy/Nissan/VW/Dodge all by the same company with adjoining parking lots. Pretty easy to test drive a few cars there. We drove 3 VW's and a Nissan Maxima all back-to-back and he offered us a test drive of any car from any lot that we were interested in. Pretty cool!
