Spent the weekend on the houseboat. Son learned to wakesurf. Went 'wireless' too.

He also learned how to get pop on his wakeboard finally. Man he was getting booted off the wake. He's poking his tail grab Josh Twelker style

My daughter decided to surf again (first time this year). She pops up, goes right to the pocket and decides she's uncomfortable (riding with slack in on first pull/pull in) and throws the rope and jumps off. We pull around do it again and she does the same exact thing and says "I'm done, I don't like it."

With the old depth finder only showing 10.6', we are noticing that we have to dump some of the ballast in order to get a longer pocket. For some weird reason instead of collapsing the wave, it's making a super tall & steep wave with no pocket. I dump the sac down to a few inches and the height comes down and the pocket lengthens back up. Don't remember it being like this last year.

A little. Had to go do some bracing under where the ramp hits the dock. Water is STILL going down, and I am afriad I am going to have to chain up my dock to keep the walkway from slipping completely off.

We are down about a foot from last year even... New stuff popping up through the water surface all over the place. the known safe area of the lake to use is shrinking rapidly.
