VLX is one of the all time great wakeboard wakes. I do miss the Bu wakes at times.

There is a Z1 thread for you to jump in Iwndr.

I know, I get right up to the VLX wake and seem to make a very nice turn back to the flats everytime

The wake behind our Axis with 3500lbs in it was scary as chit but sooooo much fun. Did you head up to MT for the get together or was it in WY?

I was going to look at some pic's before I jumped into that thread, The Z1 has a very respectable wakeboard wake but it is a much better surfer It looks as if that guy is a 50% wakeboarder and 25-25% Surf and Ski.

I have exactly 0 experience with the Z1 but I feel like with 1600lbs of ballast the wakeboard wake should be fine. Bump it up to 2k and it has to be good!

The Z1 wakeboard wake is way more advanced than I, properly weighted I bet it could be very close to the VLX
