Well, a WW style thread found its way over here in the General area, and Nicky gave him a good 'ol WW style answer. I'm not sure if he was serious or not but I almost had beer coming out of my nose when I read it

I drilled 7 holes in a Bu a few weeks ago. Believe it or not, the bilge hull thickness was no thinner then Tiges. Oh, and 2012 MB's are THICK!

Oh, and Bu now uses a 1 piece deck cap, so no more screwed down seat bases.

I dont agree with spending $500 for the same size prop with only a diff in cup. Spend the same and go down in pitch or spend a little more and go up in dia and down in pitch.

it is interesting that no one has ever talked about that prop on their Tige. I did comment on the tight clearance on the trailer, but yea, I am still thinking 1433 - waiting to hear the Bruiza comparison

Bu makes a great boat but if your main focus is surfing there are much better options. Barring this surf gate thing being a difference maker.

if clearance is an issue, then staying with the same dia and dropping pitch is the best value upgrade IMO. Or even going up .5 in dia (.25 closer to trailer or hull) would be good if not too close.

True if the hull desing is good. Think about it this way, the Ve was one of the best surf boat hulls made, but it was a wake-board hull. The first run Z3 was a surf boat hull and it SUCKED! Im still not sportin wood over the re-spin hull.
