think some of the discontent also is because the prices keep rising

boat builders keep putting more stuff on the boats and adding expensive electronics, but don't know if they have increased the QC investment...and of course, more fancy electronics lead to more little gremlins that can be hard to track down

with the cost of a new boat, finding lots of problems, or a single issue that repeatedly doesn't get fixed, leads to unhappy owners
