Gas strut locked up while trying to close and it was hot out making the plastic pliable and it snapped without him knowing it and then heat/swamp gas built up inside and combusted but the latch was strong enough to hold the explosion which caused it to buckle where it had broken.

Thats exactly how I was seeing it go down... Or up

lol your guys are funny. Snapped it? Thats 3/4 to 1 inch Plastic board you have any idea how much it would take to snap that? The stuts work fan. I already told you excatly what took place. Hit the lake 7am rode till noon. Pulled boat trailed home 4 mins. Cleaned and washed boat. Engine cover closed and flat! covered boat. Next morning 7am got to lake uncovered. Got in boat and was like wtf my engine cover it up then after another look its closed but warped. You want vid of me bouncing on the warped part? its not broke its warped to ****!

Ill make it even better.. if you can bend brake or whatever you think did this and make it look excatly like mine I will hand you a big ole stack of 100's. That is with out doing whatever freaky crap did this! I want you to personally make this happen by human force you think you can do this
