That's scary Tim! Any word from your co-workder's house?

    Comment

It was raining ash at my house which is 55 miles away. They showed the chunks that were coming out of the air 10 miles away and there's just no way I would have put my boat in that water. Can you imagine the ash on the white interior or the thick smoke smell? That pic is at 3:30pm and they closed it at 5pm.

It sounds like it might have been spared which would honestly be a miracle since the fire was on his property. Hopefully it was.

See him flattening out... He initiates his cut great, but gives up as soon as he hits the trough.

          Waiting for another good one!

Oh yeah, he backs out of it. Wonder if he's nervous about it?

I'm pretty sure that's all it is. He's super comfortable on the wakeboard but he lacks the confidence to just charge it. He'll try and try and then I can see it on his face, he really gets angry and cuts like crazy, still letting off but his initial cut is so hard that it gets him over the wake.

Anticipating his landing like that video ET put up says is something he needs to do. Can only help.
              Waiting for another good one!

He has a good TS cut, try to get him to start the same cut halfway in and he'll be in the flats!

That's exactly what I said to him last night. Start at the washy area and initiate that same cut! We'll try it Wednesday.

haha! That is funny! My brother and nephew talked James Walker into trying a backroll a couple weeks ago. That was hilarious as well.

He'll get it! He's doing better than I am at it. I always seem to let off the gas right at the last second which then takes the board off of the edge and I don't get any pop. Practice, practice, practice!

I just need to get him to cut that habit now before it becomes a real habit...

GET him to practice the edging drills in the book.Cutting out hard on his heelside will develop a strong toeside edge.
