We get inspected coming out and you can get a tag that is clipped onto the bow hook and trailer and you get a receipt. The next time you go you just show that and then you are good. If not then you have to go through the whole inspection.

Every ranger has their own set of rules.

I can go to the same place and have to do different things depending on the ranger and the day. Word of advice don't ask why.

When we were in Pueblo over Memorial Day they were training a new ranger so they went over everything. Next day same guy and we were in a different boat, cliff note version of the inspection.

Has anyone been to Pueblo then gone to Chatfield? I am curious if they make a stink about that. Some of the guys at Cherry Creek do. I have had to remind them of what the rule book says.

I had a younger kid that was freaking out that I was coming from Pueblo, it had been 14 days out of water. Another ranger came over and asked what the problem was and he told them. She looked in the boat and said it is dry what is the problem and agreed with me on what the rule book said and away I went.

Just went to look for the rules this year for inspections and days out of water etc... Looks like they have taken that out of the rule book and there is another form that has the information but it is vague. Just what we need more opinions.

Any of the CO TO's find anything that shows the days?

I get a yearly safety sticker on the windshield plus a spiffy piece of paper for the glove box. Inspections have been known to take up to 45 min. Mine have averaged about 20 min.

If I went to Pueblo, the next place wouldn't know about. Just saying...
