So tell me why the professional camcorders are only 2MP where the 7D is 19MP and why I'm putting too my into MP?

The more MP the bigger a print you can make, but once you get into higher MP you start to loose detail cause you can only fit some much crap into one small space.

Realistically you want to stay between 6.5 MP to no more than 10 maybe 12 MP.

i think 1920x1080 is full HD and that is about 2 M pixel. i don't think video on a 18 M Pixel camera is 18 MP

The 60 d is a bit bigger and a little heavier. It also shoots more frames per second, has an LCD on top, and a few other diffs....go to dpr reviews.com for a review of the cameras.

Film is different..... You only need to fill a 1080 pixel wide screen.
