Is lightworks free? I was trying to find a torrent for Adobe Premiere Pro CS but they are all porn spam downloads.


The linux software I'm going to learn is call "kdenlive"

Ya...as far as I know it's free. You can pay an extra $60/yr for the pro version but depending in what you're doing that may not be neccesary.

Only other thing I've been lookin at is adobe now has a subscription service ($30/month for students) that gives u access to all of their software. Of course it's gone as soon as you stop paying.

I work at a Univ. I should get that 'student' price then. I'd really like to try Premiere Pro CS.

It's the adobe creative cloud, $30/mo requires signing up or a year, otherwise I think you can do month to month for $75

You can get a 30 day trial of their stuff if you just want to try, my daughter has gotten at least two trials of premiere.
