Mike I didn't forget about your measurements. I've been slammed since I left work. I will be on the boat all day tomorrow and already packed my tape measure!
board racks breaking off.... Dingle came back for a bit. That's about it. OOOH Five was showing off his moose knuckle earlier today.... I kind of wish my work filter blocked it, cause it's a sight that I unfortunately won't be able to forget.

All right.... who wants to sell one of their custom boards? I have a trip coming up in two weeks and I am still boardless, and haven't heard from Jeff. Called him today and left him a voicemail, and sent him an email earlier this week with no response........ UUGH!

Welcome to the custom board world. I'm almost ready to sell my TWP F-18 but not quite yet.
I can honestly tell you: Farmers, Ranchers, etc. (myself included, although I'm getting out of that work) are all fed up with these small truck diesels. They ALL have their issues.
One Rancher neighbor in particular is VERY well off and we were talking just two weeks ago at the local store over coffee one Sat. morning. He was talking about how sick he is of them. He's going back to a Gas motor - in a 1 ton or 3/4 ton.
You'll be better off with that Ecoboost! IMO
However, I've actually been hearing good things about Ford's new home built diesel... Owner's pride? I can't say. It's only been out for about a year now.
My F-350 Dually doesn't weight near the 14K lbs it hauled on a regular basis.
My F-250 doesn't weight near the 9-10K lbs it tows on a regular basis, although I'm slowly getting out of the ranch business so I won't be hauling that much anymore, hence the desire for the F-150 Ecoboost.
A Peterbilt with a 400 Cummins weighs in at around 25-30K lbs., but GVWR is 80,000lbs.
I get what you are saying, but lets keep it real, being a diesel has nothing to do with being heavier than the load.
Not what I ment.. What I was getting at Is I want a Heavy a$$ truck that handles heavy loads better due to its not a 1 lbs truck pulling 1000000000 lbs and the load over comes the truck!
I was thinking the same thing 5, all the 18 wheelers trucks weigh less than the trailers. I'll keep this fun in the hoe house but I was thinking that big trucks for little boats were just a way to compensate for poor driving
