Hmmmm...
That HIN numbering scenario can't be right. At least not a few years ago. My '09 was ordered within days of the factory starting to take orders for the new model year. My boat is TIX0137DG809. No way was it the 137th RZ4 built for the 2009 model year.

But if that were right, then skippa's would have been the 34th 22Ve built between the '06 and '07 years combined. That seems too low.
I dunno.
Maybe it is just a random number, meant to confuse us.

Another possibility...
The two or three digits could refer to a specific mold that was used instead of just the model, and the (possibly) sequential numbers could refer to which hull was produced using that mold.
Or, maybe I'm just wasting too much time thinking about this. Pretty sure that is correct.
