I stay away from the lanes that have mussels. Lake lahontan just got them up here in northern Nevada. We did t go there very often anyways. So it's a lake that we won't miss.

Mussels are not a problem unless you leave the boat in the water. No issues on my boat after boating 7 years in mussel invested lakes
