What kind of food are you in the mood for? I don't ever head to that part of town to eat, but know a guy who used to work weather for the flightline and I can ask him....

I'm down to drive wherever, I don't know this town. I'm in the mood for something unique for Vegas. I know this is a hodgepodge town, but what is a good local food or resteraunt that I should not miss.

I think the kid hit by the car video is fake, he is instantly turned upside down and doesn't look like he hit the hood of the that hit him, plus to have a camera shot like that without being staged is pretty amazing, too amazing if you ask me.

Not too many "Vegas" style places come to mind. Used to just be the casinos had real cheap food to lure the gamblers. Now, there are lots of gourmet places by world class chefs, but with prices that hurt.

If you like Thai food, Lotus of Siam is pretty awesome. And not too pricy. It is in a dump of a strip mall in not the greatest area. But their food is great. http://www.saipinchutima.com/#/HOME-01-00/

My friend said that the steakhouse in the Cannery casino used to be pretty good, but he hasn't tried it recently. If you are looking for breakfast type food (any time), Blueberry Hill is right across from the main gate and is decent.
