"I told you to get a raw water strainer in front of the pump!"

I'm assuming I've likely got a little blockage on one head... Any EASY way to UN-block?

Id take out one freeze plug on each side and flush it with the garden hose... full blast. Hopefully the pressure will push the California Delta sand out of the block and heads... Unless of course it's a blade from a broken empeller. Either way, take the thermostat housing off to inspect and flush.

Nope.. the freeze plug is a nice large exit for the crap to go. I'd flush down from the thermostat housing. I was thinking that if you wanted to back flush the motor, you could oull the housing and put the garden hose into the exhaust cooling lines into the motor backwards, hopefull pushing everything backwards out the manifold. Then, it's easy enough to put it back together and run it. Freeze plugs are no easy task putting them back in with the engine in the boat...
I dont know. Start taking chit apart and hope you find rubber stuck int here somewhere.

IP68 would be continuous submersion, but for my needs, protection against a "moderately strong water jet" is going to be sufficient
