I would like to read your books but my recreational reading time is limited to the hoe house until I finish up a big project at work.

So the guy that came out to look at my boat on Saturday brought a mechanic. He was taking temp readings of my heads. One head was about 25 degrees hotter than the other.
He said they shouldn't be more than 5 degree difference since they are raw water cooled.

Opinions?

Dont sell the boat to a mechanic... especially one with a temp gun in his back pocket.

If the one runs under 200, and the other 160... that's fine. If one is running 220 and one is running 195... not so good.

Well, I figured your answer was going to be
"I told you to get a raw water strainer in front of the pump!"

I'm assuming I've likely got a little blockage on one head... Any EASY way to UN-block?

Tell the dude that since he's such a good mechanic, he wont have any problem evening out the head temps when he buys the boat.
