Wife bought me new work shirts (cowboy shirts), she made homemade enchiladas, and I just schooled little hyphen in chess. Good day!

Little hyphen is 11 almost 12, and is really really into his chess. He is on his school's chess team. I can't get him into any sports. Well, other than snowbarding. I was a closet chess player in high school and college. I didn't let my buddies know cause I didn't want to get picked on. Times are different, and little hyphen has little groupie girls follow him around cause they think it's cool.

So little hyphen wanted to take n the ol' man. little hyphen 1 - ol' man 2. I was watching baseball the first game that's how he beat me, or at least that's what I am telling myself. HAHAHA!

Is seems like nowadays, kids are allowed to be who they want to be and no one is picking on them. It's a nice change. My 12 yo beats me at chess more than half the time. He loves the game.

Washed my car and engine bay after the oil change, then a new idiot light came on to tell me a light bulb has burned out somewhere. It was a little do nothing light build next to the headlights. There is actually a small flashlight sized light bulb there that has no purpose as I can tell. It's right next to the high beam bulb and is way more dim than the low beams. At least it was easy to replace.

It's good to hear that the college level of acceptance is starting to trickle down to the younger grades. I remember getting picked on because we had to do school clothes shopping at Hills (It was a cheaper version of Kmart).
