Hyphen, our computing support folks are worse than useless 90% of the time.

It sucks MLS.... I have been with the company 8 years now, and I am a Sr IT Application Administrator. Not only that, but I am also the lead online application developer... ANDDDDDDD then I handle all the special one off projects for the owners which range from managing personal photos to writing applications for their iPads that integrate them into other IT resources.

They pay me reallllllly well, but I can't stand this new crew that we just got in about a year ago. Microsoft, IGT, Intuit and other DoD contractors pick off our good guys. I love what I do, and what my company is doing which is why I stay. IGT tried to steal me away 2 years ago and flashed a lot of money at me. Something about it just didn't feel right so I stayed. Then three months after they offered me the job they laid off 1/3 of their IT staff.

The only TO around me are NickyPoo, Rushin, and I think Topaz surfer are close. There used to be a guy up in Tahoe that was ALLLLL about surfing. The guy would go out on his lunch break for work. It was NUTS, and I was very very jealous.

There needs to be more guys closer. Hell, Maj is going to be just 2.5 hours away from me this weekend, or maybe it's next weekend, and I won't be able to make it out to meet him. F*CK..... works is really bumming me out right now. DAMN IT!

It sounds like they get their money's worth from you. It also sounds like you made a good decision to stay. I have been at Boeing 27 years. I've seen a lot of bad moves, but I honestly see some major improvements lately.

I thought it was funny recently.... There was a guy on TV who was pissed because his college loans exceeded $75k, and he majored in english arts at some liberal school, and he can't pay back his loans.

WTF did you except? I have two degrees. One in CS and one in Music, and my debt is only $21k. Don't get pissed off cause you made a bad choice on what you wanted to get your degree in. IDIOTS!!!!!
