Spray on. I'm not sure what my Tige cover is made of. My new cover is Sunbrella but I need to wait a few more weeks for it and my boat is going on the lift at the lake next week.

I'm getting ready to change the oil in my Jetta and I have a question. The manual calls for 5w-40 and the only oil I can find in that grade is for turbo diesel engines. The manual says if I can't find 5w-40 then use 0w-40, which I can get at O'Rielys. Do you guys with diesels think it's ok to put the 5w-40 in it or should I order Amsoil or go with Mobil1 0w-40?
