He was dang excited. It took forever before they announced the results. We thought that he had second, thought that the first heat had a kid faster, when they announced it we were cheering and didn't hear the time. I noticed one of the coaches looking at us and left what he was doing to come over and tell him that he tied it.

He had to make up ground in both of the relays he was in. Ended up in first on one and second on another. He got second in the 200m, he was exhausted by the time he ran it.

Yeah his new favorite sport is track. When your winning it makes it easy to be your favorite. I think that was the main reason he lost interest in soccer. They were bringing kids that had never played onto a competitive team and they were getting schooled every game.
