      Sounds like a good idea, I'll try this out on my boat when I get around to it.

        It's just so you don't need the key on or in accessory to run the stereo, he's running the power supply to the head unit to an accessory switch.

          Yep, that way when you power off (changing boarder, etc..) you don't lose the stereo. Even if you flip from on to acc with the key the amps power off and on.

                  I will most likely be giving you a call. My guess is that it is the red wire on the S terminal. But don't think that guessing is a good way to go.

                              I guess losing the music for a couple of seconds has never bothered me. We usually start the boat when it goes in the lake and shut it down when it goes on the trailer.
