My son's been out with an injury and his first contest is in 4 weeks.

I got some tips.

You can over wax. Only wax when it doesn't bead
Don't use Dawn to wash
Turtle wax turns yellow - don't use
Use Meguiars cleaner wax - auto
Don't use Teflon or silicon products
Wiping the boat down - put a towel in the lake and wipe the boat then wipe with a dry towel.
Fenders - especially stainless will cause stress cracks because of the heat - they need to be covered

They had misread his invoice and missed a couple of spots so he did that plus a couple. I am good. Plus I got to see how the scratches and scuffs are removed. 600 and 1200 sand paper. Wish I would've know that before.

I saw Shaun Murry crash and frature his ribs last weekend, he was in pain.

I hurt my ribs last year. Doc wasn't sure if I cracked them or not. Said he couldn't do anything about it since they weren't out of place. I missed the entire month of July.

I did some test wetsanding on the sailboat last night; removing oxidation. Started with 1200, then 1500, the 3000. Followed with a quick buff with Meguiar's Diamond Cut and the spot was like a mirror. 2x2 area mirror shiny in abot 10 minutes.
