hey Skippa - welcome home.

I thought you had posted how to wire the ballast switches - can you point me at your post?

This shows the diodes, with heat shrink, and the terminals.

For each switch I need to add a diode from terminal 1 to 6 and one from 3 to 6. They essentially act as a check valve so when the power is switched to terminal 1 it will flow to terminal 6 but stop the current from flowing to terminal 3.

MLS, where did you mount your switches, or have you gotten that far yet?

Hyphen, I have not decided yet. Because of the factory ballast, there is no space to add 2 more to the panel with all the other ballast switches.

I will likely make use of two unused switch positions from the bank of switches above the ballast switches. I have an Aux and Docking Lights switches that are unused. The other choice is to mount directly below the ballast panel. That would require cutting into the panel

That building is 10 stories tall to give an idea of how big it is.

They build 747,767,777 and 787 here. 737 is built in another factory.
