I don't drive like a grandpa either to get that mileage.
There's been a few recalls on the car, but never any issues. Plus they pay for oil changes every 10k miles for 3 years. I'll change it myself in between though.
It's definitely not the Lincoln LS I sold to buy it, but it has some great ammenities and it's fun to drive none the less.
I'll say though, if you aren't going to put more than about 15k miles a year on it, or if you plan to trade it in less than 7 or 8 years, it's not worth the extra cheddar they want for the diesel motor.Waiting for another good one!

Timmy, my wife and I are on our 4th jetta. Just a regular 2.5. She gets good gas mileage, and $45-$50 fills it up and lasts here about two weeks.
I paid the extra $500 upfront for no maintenance on it for the life of the lease. It costs almost $140 to $160 for an oil change. Cheaper if you go to juffy lube, but it's just an idea of why I paid the $500 upfront.
