Eddie, have you ever shot a S&W M&P 15-22? I'm thinking about buying one for my son. His current .22 is just to long for a 3 year old. I think the collapsible stock on the S&W will work better.

You can buy the S&W with a threaded barrel and compensator, so it would be all ready for a silencer.
