Used the lawn edger tonight, man that thing is a workout! My John Deere weedeater with lawn edger attachment broke so I am forced to go manual.

The guy I did the web ad for gave me a wake skate. I am looking forward to trying it out.

I figure it's cheaper to buy a new weedeater than to get mine fixed. It spins but only under light throttle. When you give it more than 1/4 throttle, it stops spinning. Something is broken in the shaft. I don't think Deere makes its own gas weedeaters though, must be a homelite or something with John Deere branding.

I think most things today are disposable. It is cheaper to buy new than pay to have it fixed.
