The great thing about the Denali XL is from 07 and up they all have the 6.2L engine and the 6 speed transmission. I had one for a little while and it towed like a dream! You can forget about good gas mileage though. Going to get low teens in the city, mid teens on the hwy and maybe 10 mpg towing.

How was the Bu test? How did it compare to the Tige? Which Bu was it?

Escalade EXT will probably be my next tow vehicle.

Love those.. However if I get one of them I can see it getting used for work one day and that would be it. All work and down hill after that point. That's why I am going the SUV route.

Escaled/Denali got booted from the picture when I realized that we would be flooding it every time we launched the boat due the shallow grade on the launch ramp. Wife is still mad at me over that one...brought an Escalade home for the weekend and let her drive it all around and then said NO.

So funny, ours was the same price as yours and then it magically went up but diesel didn't. Filled the truck on friday with diesel for $3.89 and gas is 3.79.

I am a little concerned about the grade of my ramp. We have to use the less steep since the water is down. They closed the good one.

2007.5 Crew Cab Duramax. Wife drives it every day and she is tired of driving a "truck".

I think the winter was so mild back east also that there is an over supply of heating oil....
