It was a bit out of my price range. Maybe if it was lake front property and not at 8700' elevation

Good thing I have customers by where the boat is. I got to drive by again today. Still hasn't moved. It may have got bumped again. There is a new Z3 there. Bad place for a new boat.

I wrote some C# code that uses SQL 2012 to write files to the file system and keep track of logging on it and to upload 100 20MB files took 4 mins 20 seconds vs a standard write to the file system of 48 mins 40 secs! That's a serious azz whoopin in performance!

I couldn't believe the power difference just going to Lake Powell! My top end up here is 41/42 and down there it was like 46!

That's good stuff! Try to use SSIS, and you might be able to improve on that time.

Timmy... I rewrote a SQL job here at work last year that originally took 10 hours to run and process data. When I got my hands on it I was able to get it to run in under 40 seconds. Needless to say I got a bonus for that.

Some people just aren't meant to play in the SQL world.

Don't need SSIS for this. It's for a website where users upload documents for credit reports.

Due to the wind we had to reschedule the Bu demo for tomorrow. So now we are doing the Bu and Tige back to back.
