I was going to silicone them on also but they screwed on nice and tight so I just left them as so.


I don't see a issue on them holding up as they screwed on fully.

Of course now they will have to be marketed as marine screw guards and instead of a bag of 35 for $1.49 you will pay $20.00 for five guards
