Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

I picked up a battery yesterday. I am just hoping I can get it to fit. Is is safe to just strap the battery down if I can't get the battery box in? I don't have the tops on them now.

Mine are in trays, not boxes. so I'm going out on a limb here and saying its safe

My batteries were in trays and held by straps. The only thing holding the trays (and the straps) were 4 - 1 inch wood screws.

I've been debating about battery boxes when I move the batteries forward, but they are much bigger than the batteries alone in trays.
