With all the stereo upgrades I might have to do something to mine. I need to rewire it correctly, need to get the stuff. Add the Kicker zone controller, waiting for the boat to get back. Maybe swap the tower speaker amp fro something better. I have the 350.4, would the 450.2 be better or is there a better option. Towers are Pro60's. Upgrade the sub? Go to a 12. If I do that then do I need to upgrade an amp for the sub?

bridged to 2 chnl mode for a single pair of speakers, the zx350.4 will deliver 175 watts rms. The zx450.2 delivers 150 watts rms to a single pair.

For a noticable increase on volume, that was worth the money to upgrade, you would have to feed them in the neighborhood of 250W. The better upgrade would be to go with larger speakers. A larger speaker at the same power will be a noticable increase.

A larger sub with the sam power can equal an improvement. The larger sub will push more air. But, the amount of power and the enclosure will also play into the amount of improvement.

If you have the OEM 10" Kicker CVR running free-air, then give it a box and see what ya think. Only costs a little wood and some time.
