I have a pic of my transom where the taps line goes through. You can see it is buried in sealant. I think they must tighten the line to the actuator from the outside before mounting the actuator to the transom.

767 engines are burning 25K lbs/hr each at takeoff. That lasts for less than 5 minutes (that's about 750 gallons to get to 10,000 feet.)

That's pretty efficient, and if they are the newer engines with the ruffled exhaust they are super quiet too. Hope I get to fly one someday.

Yesterday was a little crazy around Casa Dingle. Had a birthday party for the dinglets. Probably about 15 kids running around our house, kept them hopped up on pizza, candy, soda, fruits & vegetables, and cake

Meanwhile, all the adults were busy getting hopped up on beer and booze.
