The factory only runs 8 gauge power to the factory Kicker 700.5 which is not big enough. I am pretty sure that my system is louder after swapping that 8 gauge out for 0 gauge and a dist block.

I am guessing I just have the factory wire (looks the same as what is in the pic a couple of posts up). I knew you had made some changes so that was why I asked. Do you have any pics of the dist block and what the wiring looks like? I will do a search to see.
Gutting the wire and running either dedicated 4ga or a 1/0 trunk-line with blocks is an improvement. If nothing more, the amps run cooler with proper current flow.
If your are ready to tackle, let me know....I stock all you needMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

For those looking for the added features of an EQ, talk-back, etc, the WS-420 gets it done right!Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I might have to wait. I think I have already spent my boat cash.
