That is tall. I am sure the operator gets some rocking and not my choice.

With the winds we have been getting it might rock way more than I would be comfortable with.

Well tried to get the hoses done tonight. I have most done but can't get the dang hose on the pump. And I have 4 to do.

I made sure they were lubircated. I heated them and I can get to the first rib and that is it. If I heat it more there is no rigidness to push it on.

Heat the hose to the point that the coils could be pinched closed, then slip it over the lubed hose-barb.

Thanks I will give that a try. I am guessing you wear gloves of some kind when you do this?

May need to hold it with a work glove to grip the hot end and push it up.

Skippa I tried many ways and finally found that putting electrical pliers in the end after heating and pulling them open expanded the hose out real nice. Had to rotate them around a few times to keep the hose round. Then the hose went on real easy. I tried heat a pushing the hose did not work. From hard to totaly soft and had to use gloves. Still no go. I tried needlenose but they were too sharp. I did not even need lube.
