So my weather yesterday worked out perfect. Got my non-skid applied to the decks on the sailboat...
I attached one image to show the before; a tired mid 70's nasty light blue, badly oxidized...
Check out the after. I went and checked it this morning and it stayed raised just the right amount.... There is a nice tooth to the finish that will not be slippery at all.
The discoloration around the fresh water fill and the chain plate is just pencil; it will wash off...It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....

Tougher to get it random and uniform looking where you have no clue which way the roller was going during application... As with most things, I will get it close to mastered about the time I am done....It's not an optical illusion.
