arrrgh...our office network has been down all day, but at least the internet connection was working if you went through the wifi router

but, then our illustrious remote IT "help desk" somehow disconnected our internet connection while trying to fix our server issue

now two of us with smart phones are acting as the wifi hotspots for several computers in the office...and the speed is painfully slow

Dingle, they need to hire me. I will make sure that never happens, and if it does I would have engineered a backup trunk to take over when an "IT Helpdesk" person takes down the main internet connection, and I can do it all remotely from Reno. If the US government trusts me to manage a multi-million dollar IT infrastructure up here in Reno then I can DO aaaaaaaanything.

despite three phone calls to the IT "help desk", being given an incident number (or whatever the eff they call it), and being told all day that they were working on it...

we just reached someone who said that they had no clue that our system was down, and they haven't even started looking into it
